Land Rover Series 1 and 2 2250cc 4 Cylinder Performance Double Silicone HT Leads 8mm
The Land Rover Series 1, Series 2 and Series 2a utilises two different lead sets which vary depending on the positioning of the ignition coil.
The Series 2a has a longer King Lead (lead between the ignition coil and the distributor cap) for vehicles where the coil is mounted on the bulkhead, on the opposite side of the engine from the distributor. This isn't a hard and fast rule, and yours may have been changed from factory specification.
It's usually best to take a look in your engine and see where your coil sits in relation to your distributor - early Land Rover engines have the coil mounted on the right as well as the distributor, so do not require the L2 lead with no need for the longer length.
